No, Slack is a collaboration platform where students and faculty can communicate. ClassCred is an app that adds peer recognition and gamification to Slack. ClassCred gets students engaged with 🔥, a class store, badges, levels, and more.

You don't. ClassCred leverges Slack's authentication system. Once the ClassCred app is added to your Slack workspace, all you have to do is login to Slack and you will have access to ClassCred.

No, ClassCred is added to Slack by the instructor or institution. Students automatically have access.
